Loyal fans of the pop star are demanding that a individual who jumped a barricade and touched the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A circulating footage depicts the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the actors made its way down a event pathway flanked by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being detained", though official papers revealed that he was scheduled to be present on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

History of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile features clips of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney performance in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the city last winter.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a punishable act," commented an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Fans Voice Worry Over Ariana's Safety

Numerous supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed suffering from PTSD after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her May 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented a further comment on Instagram.

A number of supporters also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while some called for social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande seemed surprised when she was approached by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.
