Ukraine's drones have struck the Russian Bashneft facility in the city of Ufa, situated some 1,400 km from Ukraine, triggering explosions and a fire, according to a source in Ukraine's SBU.
This marks the third SBU deep strike in the region in the recent weeks. Those strikes illustrate that there are no safe places in the deep rear of the Russian state.

In the Russian frontier area of Belgorod, a truck driver was killed by a Ukrainian strike, per local officials.
Electricity Restoration Work in Kyiv
Operations carried on on the weekend to restore power in Kyiv, after assaults.
Electricity had been restored to in excess of 800,000 residents by Saturday and the major power firm said the main operations to recover electricity was finished though partial blackouts persisted.
Anti-Aircraft Efforts and UAV Jamming
The Ukrainian air defences intercepted or jammed 54 out of 78 total enemy drones launched towards Ukraine in the dark hours, the aerial defense command reported on Saturday.
The Russian military authorities said it intercepted 42 enemy Ukrainian drones over Russian territory.
Cuba Refutes Claims of Providing Troops to Ukraine
Cuba on Saturday rejected American allegations it has provided troops to fight in the conflict in Ukraine, while declaring officials in Havana "lack precise information about individuals" involved "independently" or "in the military forces of either party".
The government department in the capital said twenty-six Cubans had been given prison terms to jail sentences ranging from 5 to 14 years for mercenary involvement since September 2023 when reports emerged of individuals being sent to the front in Ukraine.

The program, a state project that urges opposing fighters to surrender, stated in spring: "We reliably know the names and personal details of one thousand and twenty-eight Cubans who entered into agreements with the Russian military in the past two years."
The Cuban authorities stated of those who might be involved: "Undeniably that no individual has the backing, allegiance, or approval of the government in Havana for their actions."
