A 60-day journey around the Land Down Under has been cancelled following the fatal incident of an older lady who was left behind by the cruise liner on a remote tropical isle.

The elderly woman had been hiking on the tropical location with fellow passengers from the vessel, but broke off from the excursion for a pause. The vessel departed without her and went back after some time after the ship staff discovered the passenger was not present.

An extensive hunt found her person the next day.

Investigative bodies are examining the event, together with police and the medical examiner.

The CEO of the shipping company stated that travelers and personnel on the ship were notified that the continuation of the journey had been called off due to the "tragic passing and previous engine troubles".
