Vince Zampella, Has Died in an LA Traffic Collision
The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The influential game designer lost his life when his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday, as reported by.
"This represents a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
